Since 8 June 2001, the Department has implemented 29 Directives. These are listed as follows2002/7—Amending 96/53/EC and laying down for certain road vehicles circulating within the Community the maximum authorised dimensions in national and international traffic and the maximum authorised weights in international traffic 2001/85—Relating to special provisions for vehicles used for the carriage of passengers comprising more than eight seats in addition to the driver's seat, and amending Directives 70/156/ EEC and 97/27/EC. 2001/105—Amending Directive 94/57/EC on common rules and standards for ship inspection and survey organisations and for the relevant activities of maritime administrations. 2002/41—Commission Directive adapting to technical progress 95/1/EC on the maximum design speed, maximum torque and maximum net engine power of two or three wheel motor vehicles. 2002/80—Adapting to technical progress Council Directive 70/220/EEC relating to measures to be taken against air pollution by emissions from motor vehicles. 2002/24—Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council relating to the type approval of two or three wheeled motor vehicles and their trailers, amending Directive 70/156/ EEC and repealing Directive 78/548/EEC. 2002/51—Reduction of the level of pollutant emissions from two and three wheeled motor vehicles and amending Directive 97/54/EC. 2002/75—Amending Directive 96/98/EC on marine equipment. 2001/11—Relating to roadworthiness tests for vehicles and their trailers. 2002/35—Setting up a harmonised safety regime for fishing vessels of 24 meters in length or over. 2002/78—Adapting to technical progress Directive 71/320/EEC on the approximation of the laws of the member states relating to the braking devices of certain categories of motor vehicles and their trailers. 2000/59—Port reception facilities for ship generated waste and cargo residues. 2001/10—Approximation of the laws of the member states on measures to be taken against air pollution by emissions from motor vehicles. 2002/25—Amending 98/18/EC on safety rules and standards for passenger ships. 2001/43—Amending 92/23/EEC relating to tyres for motor vehicles and their trailers and their fitting. 2001/116—Adapting to technical progress 70/156/EEC on the approximation of the laws of the member states relating to type-approval of motor vehicles and their trailers. 2001/92—Adapting to technical progress 92/22/EEC on safety glazing and glazing materials on motor vehicles and their trailers and 70/156/EC relating to the type approval of motor vehicles and their trailers. 2001/63—Adapting to technical progress 97/68/EC on the approximation of the laws of the member states relating to measures against the emission of gaseous and particulate pollutants from internal combustion engines to be installed in non-road mobile machinery. 1999/95—Concerning the enforcement of provisions in respect of seafarers hours of work on board ships calling at Community ports. 2000/30—Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on technical roadside inspection of the roadworthiness of commercial vehicles circulating in the Community. 2001/09—Adapting to technical progress 96/96/EC on the approximation of the laws of member states relating to roadworthiness tests for motor vehicles and their trailers. 2001/01—Amending Directive 70/220/EEC concerning measures to be taken against air pollution by emissions from vehicles. 2000/73—Adapting to technical progress Directive 93/92/EEC on the installation of lighting and light signalling devices on two and three wheeled motor vehicles. 2000/74—Adapting to technical progress Directive 93/29/EEC concerning the identification of controls, tell-tales and indicators on two and three wheeled motor vehicles. 2001/26—Amending Directive 95/50/EC on uniform procedures for checks on the transport of dangerous goods by road. 2001/27—Relating to measures to be taken against the emission of gaseous and particulate pollutants from compression-ignition engines for use in vehicles, and the emission of gaseous pollutants from positive-ignition engines fuelled with natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas for use in vehicles. 2001/31—Adapting to technical progress Directive 70/387/EEC relating to the doors of motor vehicles and their trailers. 1999/94—Relating to the availability of consumer information on fuel economy and CO2 emissions in respect of the marketing of new passenger cars. 1999/97—Amending 95/21/EC concerning the enforcement, in respect of shipping using community ports and sailing in the waters under the jurisdiction of the member states, of international standards for ship safety, pollution prevention and shipboard living and working conditions.
