§ Mr. McNultyAll of the policies identified in the Department's 10-Year Plan for Transport, published in 2000, have been appraised using an approach that takes account of sustainable development objectives, and builds on our new approach to appraisal which takes full account of environmental impacts. An appraisal summary table is included in the background analysis to the plan. A similar approach will be adopted for the review of the 10-year plan.
