The following tables show full-time equivalent (FTE) regular teachers and teaching assistants in maintained nursery, primary and secondary schools in January of each year. Nursery and primary staff are shown as a group because staff providing nursery education within primary schools cannot be identified separately.

Tables showing the breakdown for the primary and secondary formula spending share for each local authority are available on the Department's school funding website and copies have been placed in the Libraries.
