asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will provide details of the Prime Minister's meetings with representatives of the countryside of the United Kingdom since 1997. [HL5822]

The Prime Minister has meetings with a wide range of organisations and individuals. It is not the normal practice of the Government to release details of specific meetings or their content as some of these discussions may have taken place on a confidential basis, under Exemptions 2 and 7, Part II of the Code of Practice on Access to Government Information.
