§ Mr. MilibandNone. Guidance for the 2003—04 Basic Need round, to support the provision of new pupil places, was issued at the end of July. It invited local education authorities to make bids by 30 September. Neither the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead nor Wokingham district made applications. The Department will be announcing Basic Need allocations to LEAs in December.
