§ Mr. LeslieI have today written to the Local Government Association seeking their views on the formula that the Government are minded to use to allocate civil defence grant between eligible authorities in the next financial year. I am placing a copy of my letter (which makes clear that the use of such a formula is dependent upon the Civil Defence (Grant) Bill securing Royal Assent) in the Library of the House.
