§ Lord Hunt of Kings HeathThe latest census data currently available is for September 2001. National Health Service workforce figures as at September 2002 are not yet available and the vacancy survey and censuses in March 2002 did not collect a complete picture of the NHS workforce.
The figures for 1997 and 2001 are given in the following table.
