Who were the sponsors or referees that supported the Solicitor-General in her application for a patent as Queen's Counsel. [HL636]

The Solicitor-General was made Queen's Counsel upon her appointment which is in accordance with past practice. There were no sponsors or referees.

Whether the Solicitor-General has received a certificate to practise advocacy in the High Court; and, if so, when. [HL637]

The Solicitor-General does not have a certificate to practise advocacy in the High Court.
