§ Mr. JamiesonThe Strategic Rail Authority was established on 1 February 2001 under the provisions of the Transport Act 2000. The Act requires the authority to produce strategies, including a channel tunnel strategy. Copies of the authority's strategies will be placed in the Library of the House when they are published.
