To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will publish the most recent figures, by service, for those reservists on full-time reserve service. [14469]

Dr. Moonie

The most recent figures, by service, for those reservists on full-time reserve service as at 1 October are:

  • Naval service (inc. RM): 619
  • Army: 812
  • RAF: 284.

These figures are contained in Tri-Service Publication 2 (Tri-Service Personnel Strengths and Trained Requirements), a copy of which is in the Library of the House. The publication can also be viewed on the internet at www.dasa.mod.uk.
