§ Ms Quin[holding answer 16 April 2001]: The Government accepted the recommendation of the independent Husbandry Panel on the need for more effective guidance to farmers on reducing the risk of TB. We will re-assess the mechanisms used to deliver this 607W guidance in the light of the Panel's advice, although the timeframe for this work will be extended because of the foot and mouth outbreak.
