§ Lord Hunt of Kings HeathThe reportThe NHS Plan—Clean Hospitals has now been published and copies have been placed in the Library. Over 700 hospital sites are included.
The results of these visits are shown in the following table.

The percentage of hospitals now showing an acceptable or good standard of cleanliness is 94 per cent. We will continue to support trusts in raising standards further.
