§ Mr. SpellarDespite its advantages there are also inherent problems in the use of aluminium armour on vehicles such as the Warrior. The Department has been aware of this for some time and appropriate repair schemes have been developed with the Design Authority. There have been no reports, however, of specific structural or metallurgical defects affecting any Warrior vehicles deployed to Kosovo.
