§ Mr. HoonThe announcement on 16 May stated the intention to purchase a quantity of AMRAAM missiles to equip Eurofighter when it first enters service. Options for acquisition, whether by a Government to Government order or through a direct contract with Raytheon, are being examined. The potential for industrial participation opportunities will be taken into account.
