§ Mr. HillShropshire county council has been allocated the following amounts for transport projects, through the Local Transport Settlement, since May 1997:

£ million 1998–99 0 955 1999–2000 1.696 2000–01 2.103 In addition, Shropshire county council has been allocated £630,354 in Rural Bus Subsidy Grant for each of the years 1998–99, 1999–2000 and 2000–01, and £43,500 through the Rural Bus Challenge in 1999. Telford and Wrekin council has been allocated £76,048 each year for Rural Bus Subsidy Grant, and £174,000 through the Rural Bus Challenge in 1999.
