§ Mr. IngramThe portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II can be on display in RUC stations, though the RUC have advised that there is no formal policy about displaying the portrait. The Patten Commission did not make any specific reference to this issue in its report, however, it did recommend that the police service should maintain a 'neutral working environment'. This proposal, as with all the other recommendations, is part of the current consultation process.
