§ Clare ShortOur policies for the reduction of poverty, our principal objective, are set out in the Country Strategy Papers. These papers are produced through a process of consultation which includes local NGOs and UK NGOs as well as the country's government, the research community and the private sector. The papers are available in the Library of the House and are also available to the public in the UK and in the country concerned.
