§ Mr. HainThe Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group, which met in London on 18 October, confirmed Pakistan's suspension from the councils of the Commonwealth. A Commonwealth Mission, led by the Foreign Minister of Canada, Lloyd Axworthy, visited Pakistan from 28-29 October in order to assess the situation there. It will report to the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Durban, South Africa, on 12-15 November.
