§ Clare ShortWe are developing working relationships with a wide range of businesses in pursuit of our poverty elimination objectives. On 20 April I spoke at a Symposium organised by the Prince of Wales Business Leaders Forum and Business in the Community on "Responsible Business in the Global Economy". The Symposium was sponsored by Diageo and BP-Amoco and was attended by over a hundred representatives from blue chip companies and non-governmental organisations.
