§ Clare ShortSince 1996, we have provided almost £1 million of humanitarian assistance for Civil Society and UN agencies working with refugees and internally displaced people along the Burma-Thailand border, the Burma-China border and the Burma-Bangladesh border. We shall continue to respond to appeals for humanitarian assistance where safe and transparent delivery systems are available to ensure that assistance reaches the intended beneficiaries.
