§ Clare ShortAbout 2½ million people have been driven from their homes in the former Yugoslavia as a result of the conflicts since 1991 and an additional 800,000 since March this year. In response, the UK Government have provided over £247 million in humanitarian, reconstruction and development support. We have committed £40 million since March for refugees from Kosovo.
