HC Deb 04 March 1999 vol 326 c828W
Mr. Berry

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what amounts in her Department's budget for 1998–99 can be attributed to spending on disabled people; and what proportion this represents of total departmental spending.[71280]

Mr. Paul Murphy

Information in the form requested is not readily available and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. However, an estimated £42.2 million has been identified as spending on specific measures to assist the disabled in 1998–99.
