§ Mr. Charles ClarkeThese seven clubs will open their "Playing for Success" study support centres during the 1999–2000 football season. The number of pupils to attend each centre will be agreed between the centre's manager, the local schools, and the Local Education Authority. Bristol City, Liverpool, Manchester United, Stockport County and Southampton have appointed centre managers to take up post in September of this year; their estimates of pupil numbers will be available in October 1999. Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion expect to have centre managers in post in January 2000; estimates of their pupil numbers will be available in February 2000.
