§ Mr. Straw[holding answer 16 July 1999]: Home Office officials have been working with colleagues from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the Department for Education and Employment; and representatives of the British Board of Deputies and the Holocaust Trust, among others, to develop a proposal for a Holocaust Remembrance Day. This proposal will be the subject of wide consultation shortly.
