To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list the changed assumption and calculation methods used in Table B9 of the Pre-Budget report (Cm 4076), compared with Table 4.5 in the July 1997 Red Book, HC 85. [64637]

The conventions used in the July 1997 Red Book are set out in Annex B of Chapter 4. Those used in the Pre-Budget Report are described on pages 123–27 of that document.
