§ Ms Glenda JacksonOver the last six months my Department has received a number of representations relating mainly to the standard of services on the Northern Line including 8 letters from Members of Parliament and 44 letters from the public.
Disruption on the Northern Line did increase over recent months; however when the new fleet of trains is in service, the reliability of the line should improve considerably. It is expected that a full Northern Line service will be provided completely by new trains by Autumn 1999.
