§ Mr. Doug HendersonMy Department commissioned two items of public opinion research prior to the publication of the Strategic Defence Review White Paper. The purpose of the research was to explore public attitudes, feelings and knowledge regarding the key issues covered by the Review. The research addressed attitudes to the Armed Forces as a whole and did not address the Defence Medical Services specifically. Copies of the research reports have been placed in the Library of the House.
