To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will delay a decision about possible major changes in the status of Edinburgh College of Art until the Scottish Parliament has time to consider it. [69738]

There is no submission at present before the Secretary of State seeking approval for a change in the status of Edinburgh College of Art.

From 1 July 1999, this will be a matter for the Scottish Parliament.
