HC Deb 11 February 1999 vol 325 c319W
Mr. Maclean

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what proposals he has to remove or reduce the pension entitlement of police officers found guilty of an offence of breach of police disciplinary rules. [R] [70571]

Mr. Boateng

This is something we are considering. However, we are concerned that any measures we do propose should be both fair and proportionate. We will not reach any firm conclusions before taking the opportunity to consider he report of the Macpherson Inquiry and any recommendations it makes.
