Mr. Jon Owen JonesMy right hon. Friend and I have had no such discussions. The Government's policy in respect of genetically modified food is based on ensuring the protection of public health and the provision of adequate labelling for consumers.
In future, the safety and labelling of genetically modified foods will be a matter for the National Assembly.
