§ Mr. Andrew SmithOur plans are given in the report of the consultation we carried out earlier this year on age discrimination and employment. The report, "Action on Age", was published on 13 August and a copy has been placed in the Library. We are developing a draft code of good practice with key partners, including the TUC, Age Concern, Institute of Personnel and Development and the CBI. It will cover recruitment, selection, promotion, training, redundancy and retirement. It will be issued shortly for wider consultation and a final version published early next year.
