§ Ms HodgeThe Green Paper "Meeting the Childcare Challenge" which was published in May, sets out the Government's plans for a National Childcare Strategy to raise their quality of care, to make childcare more affordable and to make it more accessible.
The private and voluntary sector has an important role to play in delivering the objectives of the National Childcare Strategy and in meeting our commitment of a free nursery place for every four year old.
