§ Mr. Charles ClarkeThe Government view the use of new technologies as an integral part of their education and lifelong learning policies aimed at raising standards in schools, modernising Britain and equipping us to compete in the global economy of the Information Age. These plans are being backed with an investment of over £lbn over the next four years.
