§ Mr. Gill
To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food which other EU states have pledged their support for the retention of the principle of relative stability as per the 1983 agreement. [59826]

§ Mr. Morley
Because there is no expectation that the principle of relative stability will lapse, Member States have not been called upon to pledge their support in the Fisheries Council for its continuation. None has suggested to the Council that it should not be retained.
