§ Mr. MealeThe Health and Safety Executive commissioned a study of psychotropic drugs and work performance and the health implications of recreational drug use.
The Health and Safety Executive, along with other Government departments, intends to commission further research next year on the effects on performance and increased risk of accidents from alcohol and drugs—both illegal and legal, including psychoactive medication transferred into the work environment.
