§ Mr. MealeThe report on the review of the National Air Quality Strategy, which 1 expect to publish for consultation early in the New Year, will discuss the various impacts on health of air pollution. It will draw on the report published earlier this year by the Department of Health on the Quantification of the Effects of Air Pollution on Health in the United Kingdom, which attempted for the first time to measure the effects of air pollution on the health of people in the UK.
