§ Mr. Doug Henderson[holding answer 10 November 1998]: The Chief Constable of the Ministry of Defence Police (MDP) has set up a Working Group, chaired by the Deputy Chief Constable, including representation from the Defence Police Federation, to examine the new regulations for Home Department Police Forces and consider how they can best be applied to MDP officers. Following consideration of the Group's proposals, the Chief Constable will aim to implement any necessary changes by 1 April 1999 or as soon as possible thereafter.
