§ Ms QuinThere are no legislative proposals currently being considered at Ministerial level which do not have an existing treaty base. Certain matters are being considered at working group level, however, to prepare for the implementation of the Amsterdam Treaty once it enters into force. These include preparations for the incorporation of the Schengen acquis, proposed common principles for European elections, and proposed measures to establish the Policy Planning and Early Warning Unit for CFSP.
