§ Mr. RaynsfordMy hon. Friend the Minister for the Regions, Regeneration and Planning published a draft revised MPG3 (Coal Mining and Colliery Spoil Disposal) for public consultation on 16 October. Comments on the draft guidance, which applies to England only, are requested by 15 January 1999.
My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland published draft revised planning policy guidance on opencast coal in Scotland on 23 October. Responses to that consultation paper are requested by 11 December 1998.
