§ Ms Glenda JacksonThe Millennium Access transport strategy was developed before the proposed cable car, being promoted by a private company, was a consideration. The New Millennium Experience Company has estimated that 2 per cent. of visitors would use the cable car for part of their journey to the Dome. Should it not proceed there would be sufficient capacity on other modes to carry visitors to the Dome who might otherwise have used the cable car.
