§ Ms Glenda JacksonThis scheme is included in our Targeted Programme of Improvements listed in A New Deal for Trunk Roads in England. That means that the scheme will definitely start within the next seven years, subject only to any outstanding statutory procedures. Detailed decisions on the timing of the schemes in the programme will be made shortly.
In the light of these decisions, the appointment of consultants and design agents will be commissioned to meet the agreed programme.
