§ Mr. FatchettOur Embassy in Santiago has repeatedly made it clear to the Chilean authorities that it is their responsibility to ensure the safety of all British nationals and British interests in the country. The Embassy will continue to do so as appropriate. The present advice against all non-essential travel to Chile stands.
