§ Mr. MandelsonContract Notices published in theOfficial Journal of the European Community which are also published in Government Opportunities are required for all priority services and supplies where the estimated value is above £104,435 and for all works above £4,016,744. Contract award notices are required for all contracts issued as a result of these notices as well as for all residual services (which do not require a contract notice) where the value is in excess of £155,993. This accounts for the disparity in the number of contract notices and contract awards. There is no full central list of contract awards.
