§ Mr. Tom ClarkeThe recommendations of the Government's Film Policy Review Group were announced on 25 April. These set out an agenda for action by Government and industry in support of British film. Copies of the report 'A Bigger Picture' have been placed in the Library of the House.
On 12 May, I co-chaired a meeting of an Action Committee, made up of representatives of key sectors of the British film industry, which will oversee the implementation of the report's initiatives.
