To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland (1) what has been the(a) revenue and (b) capital expenditure in each of the last five years in (i) cash and (ii) real terms on social services in Northern Ireland; [35733]

(2) what has been the (a) revenue and (b) capital expenditure in each of the last five years in (i) cash and (ii) real terms on health services in Northern Ireland. [35732]

As health and personal social services (HPSS) are provided on an integrated basis in Northern Ireland, it is not possible to break HPSS expenditure figures down between spend on health and personal social services. Accordingly, in terms of total HPSS expenditure (excluding EC Peace Moneys) the information requested is as follows:
