§ Mr. Andrew SmithA young person's action plan will specifically cover in detail the time to be spent in the New Deal, which for participants in the Full-Time Education and Training option can be up to 52 weeks, following their time on the Gateway. However, the action plan will also look forward to the period after the New Deal option. It should also include the steps that will be taken towards obtaining sustained employment in the longer term. In the case of young people who are undertaking Access to Higher Education courses in the New Deal, the action plan will include reference to their proposed employment goal following Higher Education.
