Friend the Member for Birmingham, Hall Green (Mr. McCabe) on 10 February 1998,Official Report, columns 139–40. We have made the UK's position on this subject plain at meetings of the Preparatory Committee and elsewhere. NATO has not taken a position on the matter and has made no representations.
