§ Mr. Spellar[holding answer 23 February 1998]: As part of the second phase of its land ranges rationalisation study last year, the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency consulted both the Ministry of Defence and British industry to assess the total volume of work likely to be available over the next five years. The data were gathered on a project-by-project basis, on both the technical requirements and the funding available for the proposed testing over the next five years, including small and medium calibre work conducted at Pendine.
