§ Mr. RookerAs the sponsoring Department for the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, the Ministry will provide the body with funding of over £17 million grant-in-aid during the current financial year. We look forward to receiving shortly its corporate strategic plan for the period 607W to 2002/03. My right hon. Friend will be discussing Kew's operations and scientific programmes with its Director and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees when he visits the Gardens on 7 July.
