§ Mr. MilburnThe review of prescribing, supply and administration of medicines, chaired by Dr. June Crown, is currently developing its second and final report which is expected to be submitted to Ministers later this summer. The review is not focused on nursing and residential care homes. It is looking more broadly at the current arrangements under which medicines are prescribed, supplied and administered, and considering whether health professionals inside and outside the National Health Service might take on new responsibilities with regard to those functions.
